My journey started with Greg almost 2 years ago. I had freshly filed for a divorce and considering options on where to live, I randomly lucked out finding Greg on Lending Tree. We spoke and I explained my situation at that tim****.if I had the capacity to do anything except focus on the divorce at that time, I know he could have helped me. Buying a house was just beyond my capacity of things to do at that time.
well, fast forward 18 mon*****.He actually followed up with me to check in on my situation (and, totally not spam-like or annoying.) I have been renting for over a year, and my credit took some pretty big hits during the divorce. He explained the programs he had - and after doing a quick pre-qualification, I was shocked to learn that I might actually qualify for a mortgage with the credit challenges I had, by paying off a credit card. I admit, it was because of that phone call that I passively started looking at homes, thinking that "maybe in a year" I would move forward with a purchase.
Well, a few weeks later, I found THE house. Like, destiny, fate, lightening...I knew this was our home. I made an offer on the house on the spot - thinking that the odds were low it was going to work out. I called Greg immediately and got pre-approved... and here I am, less than 60 days later, I closed on the house. I get to take my kids to our forever home this afternoon. As a single parent with grade school kids, working a demanding job from home, in the middle of a pandemic, less than a year out of a nasty divorce in a red hot sales mar*****.this feels like a miracle.
It hasn't been easy getting to this point (Thanks to clerical and system issues for 3rd parties during the underwriting process) but Greg was a clear, patient, steady guide through the entire thing. I cant say enough great things about him - I will be referring everyone I can.
(Oh, and I found out this morning while I was signing my closing documents that Planet Home Lending plants 3 trees for every house they close on. Given the pile of paperwork - that's pretty cool too.) :)

The title company that was recommended by planet lending had multiple issues that caused a great deal of extra work and stress at the finish line.
They did not get closing docs to seller until 4pm the day before closing and when they were delivered they incorrectly had two wrong items on the sellers section. In one case they tried to charge the same settlement fee to both buyer and seller. They corrected at the end but it took multiple calls into the evening to resolve. Also wiring verificat
