This isn't all Patrick's fault. I started the process w/ Jamie Hertz, she was very nice, but at some point she just stopped answering my calls & only responded to my texts a day later. I had to push to get information about a process they should have been keeping me informed about. Patrick emailed me the day before my rescission ended to tell me he was me new loan officer. At that point I was already unhappy with the lack of communication and bad notary. I will not be using NAL again.

I felt that the underwriting department kept asking for more and more items and kept changing the rules. It had nothing to do with Patrick though. Then at the end, no one told me that I had to call New American Funding to stop the biweekly payments that were coming out of my checking account even though I had told them several times that I was on an automatic biweekly payment plan. NAF ended up taking a payment the same day my loan was paid off and now I have to wait for a check to be mailed.

Patrick explained my options and the process clearly and succinctly. The document gathering process is the easiest I've ever encountered. My loan closed much sooner than expected. I was kept informed the entire way. Even the notary was terrific! Smooth and easy all around.
