I would like to comment on Russell's service in assisting me in obtaining my loan. He answers the phone promptly and politely with the utmost patience. He always returns his customer calls quickly. He helped me upload required statements in to the website since I have a few issues with the technology involved. When I had a problem with an item near the end of the process, he kept in touch with me and held my hand until we got everything right. I don't believe I could have completed this process without Russell's assistance and perseverence. He is absolutely a professional of the highest standards and I highly recommend him in his position.

Awesome Re-Fi Experience!!

Russell J. responded to my initial inquiry with Amerisave regarding my interest in refinancing our second vacation/retirement home, and I am so glad he did! I say that because Russell demonstrated a level of caring, patience, perseverance, and professionalism throughout the loan origination process that is rarely seen these days. Here's a little background- My wife and I were looking to do a re-fi; actually I should say I was looking to do a re-fi and I would have to convince her, which would not be an easy process given she works in the finance industry and understands mortgage numbers. I on the other hand do not have a financial accounting mind, but I do like to save money especially when it comes to paying more towards principle than interest in re-paying a mortgage loan! This is where Russell and his expertise came into play, as he worked with me, actually he did most of the work, in convincing my wife that cutting two years off our current fixed-rate mortgage and lowering our current interest rate by 1/2 of a percentage point thereby putting a minimum of $30,000 of interest savings in our pockets over the life of the loan, while keeping our monthly mortgage payment the same, was a very wise thing to do! Not only that, but because Amerisave is a mortgage broker, Russell was able to minimize our closing costs, keeping our total out of pocket expenses to less than $300! Still, as much as I am thrilled that Russell was able to keep our monthly mortgage payment the same and save us money, I am most happy and impressed with who he is as a person. Russell demonstrated early on in the process that he truly cares about people- that he cared about us and wanted to really help us save money on our mortgage! His ability to educate me so that I could understand the mortgage process in layman terms, is a gift he possesses, just like his gift of patience, which he demonstrated while explaining to my sceptical wife, why re-financing made a lot of sense for us. Russell was not pushy at all; he told us to "take what time we needed; and said he was here to help us- if the loan made sense to us great, and if not no hard feelings - he was just trying to save us money because he really enjoys helping people." I can honestly say I was blessed to have worked with Russell, who by the way, not only took us as far as originating the loan and submitting the loan paperwork on-line, but went above and beyond in answering additional questions I had about the disclosure statements and making sure we had a closing date finalized as well.
